Cut Copper Blocks and Track Oxidation States
Working with Copper
Copper blocks can now be cut using the stonecutter, and the mod preserves oxidation states during cutting—meaning you can cut weathered copper and maintain its patina.
Cutting Copper Blocks
1. Obtain copper blocks in any oxidation state (fresh, exposed, weathered, or oxidized)
2. Place the Stonecutter and right-click to open it
3. Insert your copper block into the input slot
4. Select from the available copper variants
5. The output will maintain the same oxidation level as your input block
6. Collect your cut copper blocks
Oxidation Preservation
- If you cut weathered copper, you'll get weathered copper variants
- This allows you to create detailed copper builds without losing the aesthetic of aged copper
- You can still use waxing and scraping to change oxidation states separately
- Stonecutting is faster than crafting multiple copper variants individually
