Recovering Materials from Broken Tools and Armor

When a tool or piece of armor is heavily damaged and near breaking, you can smelt it in a furnace to recover materials. Vanilla smelting often returns too little to justify the fuel cost. With Superior Smelting Mod, you're guaranteed to recover at least one ingot from smelting damaged gear, making it worthwhile to recycle worn equipment rather than discard it.

This mod also enables smelting of raw ore blocks into metal blocks, and improves furnace functionality overall to support more efficient smelting operations.
