Ensure Dripstone Matches Your Other Textures
How Automatic Texture Adaptation Works
The Super Simple 3D Dripstone Resource Pack is designed to respect your existing resource packs. Instead of imposing a single texture style, it reads the dripstone texture from whatever pack you're currently using and applies the 3D model on top of it.
Checking Texture Compatibility
1. Load your resource packs in order — place the Super Simple 3D Dripstone pack after any texture packs in your load order to ensure it can read the base dripstone texture.
2. Inspect pointed dripstone in-game — look at both hanging and upright dripstone formations to confirm they match your other cave blocks in color and style.
3. Test in different lighting — check dripstone in caves, under skylights, and in complete darkness to see how the 3D shading interacts with your chosen textures.
Troubleshooting Mismatches
If dripstone looks out of place, verify that your texture pack is loading before this pack in your resource pack list. The 3D model will always adapt to whatever base texture is available, ensuring seamless visual integration regardless of your setup.
