How to Use Super Resolution Mod

Using Super Resolution

Super Resolution Mod adds upscaling options that let you trade render resolution for performance. The main control is the SR ratio setting found in your game's video or graphics options. Setting the ratio above 1.0 tells the mod to render the game at a lower internal resolution and then upscale the image, which reduces the load on your graphics card and increases frames per second.

Two modes shape the result. Performance mode pushes the biggest FPS gains, up to roughly three times more frames. Quality mode instead focuses on sharpening edges of blocks and items so the upscaled picture looks cleaner.

The mod bundles several upscaling algorithms, including AMD FSR, Snapdragon Game Super Resolution, NVIDIA DLSS, and Intel XeSS. Which one applies depends on your hardware. It works on Windows and Linux, supports Sodium and Iris, and is useful on weaker GPUs or with heavy shader packs.
