Adjust Water Colors to Match Your Biome Palette
Customize shallow and deep water tints
The mod multiplies its depth effect onto vanilla biome colors rather than replacing them, so your warm tropical waters stay warm and cold ocean biomes stay cool. However, you can fine-tune the tints to suit your aesthetic.
Steps:
1. Open the mod's configuration menu
2. Locate the Shallow Tint setting and choose a color for shallow water areas
3. Set the Deep Tint to your preferred darkest water color
4. Test the changes by swimming in different biomes and viewing from above
5. Adjust Intensity if the depth effect feels too strong or too subtle
Balance readability with vanilla feel
If the color gradient feels unnatural, reduce the Intensity value to make depth changes more subtle. Conversely, increase intensity to make trenches and terrain features pop visually. The tint colors blend across the depth range you define with Shallow Depth and Deep Depth, so experiment with those values to control where the gradient transitions occur.
