Survive Long-Term in the Poolrooms
Secure a Safe Room
Find a chamber with minimal water and establish it as your base. Clear out water using buckets or build a platform above the surface. Stock this room with a crafting table, furnace, and bed so you have a reliable respawn point and shelter from the endless wandering.
Manage Your Air Supply
When swimming through long underwater passages, surface frequently and take deep breaths. Carry doors or signs—placing them underwater creates air pockets you can use to refill your oxygen. This is essential for crossing deep flooded sections without drowning.
Gather Resources Strategically
The Poolrooms contain standard Minecraft blocks and materials. Collect wood from any available sources, mine stone for tools, and gather food by fishing or hunting mobs that spawn in dark areas. Build a small farm or fishing setup in your base room.
Prepare for Darkness
Bring plenty of torches or craft them regularly. Mobs spawn in unlit areas, especially in deep water and shadowy corners. Keep your base well-lit and light up passages as you explore to reduce hostile encounters.
