Switch Between Multiple Sidebar Styles

Using the Style Command

Styled Sidebars provides a command to change sidebar styles without restarting your server. This is useful for events, game modes, or player preferences.

Switching Your Own Sidebar

Execute the style-switching command and specify which style configuration you want to load. The sidebar updates immediately to reflect the new style while preserving your current scoreboard data.

Managing Styles for Other Players

Server operators can apply styles to specific players or groups. Use the player-targeting variant of the command to change another player's sidebar style remotely. This is helpful for:

  • Applying themed sidebars during events
  • Resetting corrupted sidebar displays
  • Testing styles on other players without affecting your own view

Reloading After Configuration Changes

If you edit style files while the server is running, use the reload command to apply changes without a full restart. This lets you iterate on sidebar designs quickly during development or customization.
