Create a Paged Sidebar with Manual Navigation

What Paged Sidebars Do

Unlike scrolling sidebars that cycle automatically, paged sidebars let players manually switch between different "pages" of information. Each page displays a distinct set of scoreboard entries or custom content.

Setting Up Pages

Configure your style with display type set to paged. Define multiple pages within your configuration, each showing different scoreboard objectives or filtered data. For example:

  • Page 1: Player stats (health, hunger, experience)
  • Page 2: Server statistics (online players, time played)
  • Page 3: Custom objectives or achievements

Player Navigation

Players use commands or mechanics defined by the mod to advance to the next page or return to previous ones. This gives them control over what information they view without cluttering the sidebar.

Designing Page Content

Use Text Placeholder API to make each page dynamic. Display relevant data that changes based on player state or server conditions. Keep page layouts consistent so players know where to find information across different pages.
