Prevent Visual Clipping When Struts Meet Blocks
Understanding Clipping Issues
When struts connect to or pass near existing blocks, their models can overlap messily with walls, floors, or other structures. This mod includes automatic clipping to solve this problem.
How Clipping Works
The mod automatically detects when a strut's model would intersect with nearby block surfaces and clips (cuts away) the overlapping portions. This happens without affecting the collision box—you can still walk on the full strut.
What You'll See
- Beams that cleanly meet walls without protruding through them
- Cables that don't visually merge with block faces
- Smooth transitions where struts attach to anchor points
This clipping is handled automatically and requires no configuration. If you notice visual overlap, ensure your strut is properly aligned with its anchor blocks. The mod prioritizes clean visuals, so clipping always favors the appearance of the connection over the appearance of surrounding blocks.
