Connect Two Blocks with a Strut

Basic Connection Setup

Struts create solid bridges between distant blocks without filling the space between them. Start by placing your two anchor blocks—these are the points your strut will connect.

Creating the Connection

1. Hold a strut connector item and look at your first anchor block

2. Right-click to mark it as your starting point

3. Move to your second anchor block and right-click again

4. The strut will generate between them, creating a walkable path

The connector automatically calculates the shortest route and renders the beam or cable between your two points. If the connection fails, check that:

  • Both blocks are solid and can support attachments
  • The distance isn't beyond the mod's maximum range
  • No conflicting blocks occupy the connection path

Once placed, the strut becomes a physical structure—players and mobs can walk across it, and it won't despawn. You can remove it by breaking the connector block itself, which will clear the entire structure.
