Settling Near a Generated Village

Finding Villages

Structures Plus II adds new village types to various biomes, including underground villages. Explore different terrain types—plains, forests, mountains, and underground caverns. Villages are larger structures with multiple buildings, so they're visible from a distance if you look for clusters of structures.

Establishing Your Base

Once you find a village, build your base nearby to take advantage of existing infrastructure. Villages often have useful buildings like blacksmith houses with loot, and populated villages contain villagers for trading.

Trading with Villagers

Villagers in generated villages have professions and will trade with you. Identify what each villager offers and plan your trades accordingly. This is especially valuable near blacksmith structures, which may have rare items.

Expanding the Settlement

You can build additional structures near the village to expand it. Create farms, storage areas, or defensive walls. The existing village provides a social and economic anchor for your base, making it more efficient than building in isolation.
