Finding Underground Villages

Underground villages spawn in cave systems and underground areas. Mine downward or explore existing caves to find them. They're built with vanilla blocks and blend into cavern environments, so look for clusters of structures or unusual architectural patterns in caves.

Preparing for Underground Exploration

Bring plenty of torches, food, and combat gear. Underground villages are in dark environments with natural mob spawning. Light up areas as you explore to prevent mobs from appearing and to navigate safely.

Mapping Your Route

Underground navigation is confusing. Mark your path back to the surface with torches or blocks placed in a pattern you'll recognize. Consider building a staircase or ladder system to create a reliable exit route.

Harvesting Resources

Underground villages often have valuable loot and are surrounded by ore deposits. Mine carefully around the structures to gather resources without collapsing buildings. The village itself provides shelter and supplies for extended underground expeditions.
