Troubleshooting Structure Blocks That Won't Save or Load

The Box Won't Grow

If the size sliders stop early, you have hit an axis limit. Confirm the mod is actually loaded (check your mod list) — without it, the vanilla cap applies. Also make sure you are in the correct mode: Save mode lets you size the box, while Load mode uses the stored size. If a saved structure loads smaller than expected, the file was written before you finished resizing, so re-save.

Save Fails or File Is Missing

  • Names must be unique; saving over an existing name can fail silently. Use a fresh name.
  • Very large structures need time to write.
  • Check the structure folder in your world save to confirm the file appeared.

Load Places the Wrong Blocks

If loading punches holes in terrain, the file still contains air. Run /structure clean <name> to strip it, then load again. If blocks are offset, your bounding box corners were set unevenly — re-save with the box centered on the build.

General Checks

  • Reload the world after changing mod settings.
  • Test in a flat creative world before using a structure in survival.
