How to Save a Build Larger Than the Vanilla Structure Block Limit
Preparing the Area
Place a structure block and set it to Save mode. Open its interface and switch the corner/offset controls so the bounding box covers your build. In vanilla, the box refuses to grow past a fixed cube; with this mod installed, that ceiling is lifted, so you can drag the size sliders much further out. Watch the on-screen size readout as you extend each axis — it updates live, so you can confirm the box actually encloses everything before committing.
Saving and Verifying
Type a name into the structure name field, then press Save. The mod writes the file to your world's generated structure folder. If the save fails, the box is almost certainly still too large for the current axis limits, so shrink the offending axis and retry. Once saved, load the structure in a test area with a Load block to confirm nothing was clipped at the edges. Very large saves take noticeably longer to write, so avoid closing the world mid-save.
Tips
- Build in sections if a single save feels sluggish.
- Keep the structure name short and lowercase to avoid file issues.
- Re-save after edits rather than stacking multiple files with similar names.
