Filling Huge Regions With the Expanded /fill Command

What Changed

The mod raises the volume the /fill command will accept, so you are no longer blocked when the two corners are far apart. The syntax is unchanged: /fill <x1> <y1> <z1> <x2> <y2> <z2> <block>. What changes is how far apart those corners can be before the command refuses.

Step by Step

1. Stand at one corner and note your coordinates (F3 screen).

2. Move to the opposite corner and note those coordinates too.

3. Run /fill with the two coordinate sets and the block you want.

4. If it errors about size, the region still exceeds the limit — split it into two or more fills.

Practical Advice

  • Fill in layers (fix the Y values) for very tall regions; it is easier to undo mistakes.
  • Use replace mode to swap only specific blocks: /fill ... <block> replace <targetBlock>.
  • Huge fills can lag the game while they process. Do them in creative and avoid running them on a busy server.
  • Always test on a small region first to confirm your coordinates are right before committing to a massive fill.
