How to Make Multiple Structure Mods Work Together

The Compatibility Problem

Every structure mod registers its own structures with its own spacing and separation rules. When several are installed, they don't know about each other, so you get clusters, overlaps, and terrain that feels crowded. Structure Essentials acts as a coordinator: it reads all registered structures and applies shared spacing rules on top of each mod's own settings.

Steps to Harmonize Your Modpack

1. Install Structure Essentials alongside your structure mods. No per-mod configuration is needed — it hooks in automatically.

2. Open the config and set a global spacing value. This becomes the baseline for every structure, regardless of which mod added it.

3. Set a minimum distance between structures so two different mods can't place buildings in the same spot.

4. Generate a test world and explore. Use /locate structure for structures from several different mods to confirm they all respect the new spacing.

5. Adjust the values up or down until the world feels balanced — not empty, not cluttered.

Remember that these rules apply at world generation time. Existing chunks won't change, so always validate on a fresh world before committing the settings to a live server.
