How to Loot Structory Structures Safely

What to Expect Inside

Structory structures are exploration content, not combat dungeons. Most contain decorative builds, storage containers, and environmental storytelling rather than boss fights. That said, some spawn hostile mobs naturally, and others have traps or precarious drops. Treat every structure as potentially dangerous until you've scouted it.

Safe Looting Routine

1. Circle the structure first. Look for mob spawners, exposed drops, or openings that mobs could pour out of.

2. Light up the interior with torches as you go. This prevents mobs from spawning behind you while you loot.

3. Open chests one at a time and check your inventory space — Structory loot can include useful building materials, food, and occasional gear.

4. Don't break decorative blocks blindly. Some structures use blocks that look ordinary but are part of the design; mining them can collapse a floor or drop you into a pit.

5. Bring a bucket of water for emergency falls and a shield for unexpected ranged attackers.

After Looting

Mark the location. Many Structory builds are worth revisiting for their aesthetic value if you plan to build nearby, and some contain reusable resources like crops or animals you can relocate to your base.
