How to Find Structory Structures in Your World
Understanding How Structory Spawns
Structory adds its structures to the world generation pool, meaning they appear naturally as you explore new chunks. They will not generate in areas you have already loaded, so you need to travel into unexplored terrain. Because they are woven into biome-specific placement, different structures show up in different environments — ruins and camps tend to appear in open biomes, while other builds favor forests, deserts, or coastal areas.
Practical Exploration Steps
1. Pick a direction and travel consistently rather than wandering in circles. Loaded chunks behind you will never spawn new Structory content.
2. Bring essentials: food, a bed, torches, and a boat for crossing oceans quickly.
3. Scan the horizon from high ground or use a spyglass to spot distant silhouettes that don't match vanilla builds.
4. Check the surface, but also look for partially buried or overgrown structures — some are designed to blend into terrain.
5. If you use a mapping mod or the vanilla cartography approach, mark each find so you can return.
Why You Might Not See Any
If you started your world before adding the data pack, only newly generated chunks will contain structures. Simply walking a few hundred blocks in a straight line into fresh terrain is usually enough to start encountering them.
