Exploring the Overhauled Stronghold

The DnT Stronghold Overhaul Mod reshapes the overworld stronghold into a network of distinct complexes rather than a loose scatter of corridors. Generation and room appearance are reworked, but every block used stays vanilla, so the structure still feels native to the game.

At the center sits the Portal Chamber, the hub linking all sub-stronghold types. From it you reach the Jail Complex, which holds the jail room types, and the Library Complex. The Lobby Complex acts as the stronghold's heart, containing the portal room, sewer complex, staircase complex, and deepslate complex.

Two Staircase Complexes connect the Portal Chamber and Lobby Complex to the normal and surface rooms. The Deepslate Complex branches off the Lobby Complex and contains deepslate rooms, including the nether portal.

Because layouts are reorganized, expect longer routes between the entrance and the portal room. Bring torches and note your path, since the new room connections make backtracking easy to get lost in.
