Fly with Elytra While Pulling Leashed Animals

Equip and Prepare

Put on your Elytra and attach leads to the animals you want to bring with you. Stand near them and ensure all leads are secure before taking off.

Launch and Ascend

Jump from a high point or use a firework rocket to gain altitude. Your leashed animals will begin following you into the air. The mod prevents leads from snapping when you use firework rockets for propulsion, which is the key difference from vanilla behavior.

Maintain Flight

As you glide and boost with fireworks, the animals will be pulled through the air toward you. They'll follow your flight path without the leads breaking, even during rapid acceleration or sharp turns. This works with multiple animals at once.

Landing

When you're ready to land, descend gradually to give animals time to catch up. Once you touch ground, they'll settle beside you safely.

This technique is invaluable for transporting animals over mountains, across oceans, or to sky-based bases where traditional pathways don't exist.
