Switch Between Hold and Toggle Walking Modes

Understanding the Two Modes

Stroll Key Pacing Mod offers two ways to activate your slow walk:

• Hold mode: Press and hold Caps Lock to stroll; release to return to normal speed
• Toggle mode: Press Caps Lock once to start strolling, press again to stop

Changing Your Mode

1. Open your game and access the main menu or pause menu

2. Navigate to Options → Mod Configuration (or similar menu depending on your mod loader)

3. Find the Stroll Key Pacing configuration panel

4. Look for the walk mode or hold/toggle setting

5. Select your preferred mode

6. Save and close the menu

Alternatively, you can edit the immersivewalk-common.toml configuration file directly:

• Locate the file in your mod config folder
• Find the line controlling hold versus toggle behavior
• Change the value and save
• Restart your game for changes to take effect

Tips

Toggle mode is useful for long journeys where you don't want to hold a key. Hold mode works better if you frequently switch between walking speeds during exploration or building.
