Set Up Your First Twitch Channel Points Reward

Before creating rewards, you need to authenticate the plugin with your Twitch account. Open the plugin configuration file and locate the Twitch authentication section. Follow the OAuth flow to grant the plugin permission to read channel points and chat events. Save your credentials securely—the plugin will use these to monitor your live stream.

Create a Channel Points Reward

In the plugin settings, navigate to the rewards configuration. Add a new reward entry and set:

• Reward name: Match this exactly to your Twitch channel points reward title
• Trigger type: Select "Channel Points"
• Action: Choose from spawning mobs, giving items, applying effects, or running commands
• Action parameters: Specify which mob to spawn, which item to give, or which command to execute

Save the configuration and restart your server. When you go live on Twitch, viewers can spend their channel points to trigger your custom action. Test it yourself first by redeeming the reward in your own chat.
