Storage Drawers: Upgrades, Keys, and Automation

Extending Drawer Behavior

Drawers can be modified with upgrades and keys rather than replaced.

Storage Upgrades raise how much a single drawer face can hold, and Storage Downgrade reverses that. Compacting behavior lets a drawer treat related items as one, so ingots, nuggets, and blocks can share a face. Void Upgrade discards overflow, Fill Level and Balanced Fill Upgrades control how evenly faces fill, and Redstone Upgrades emit or respond to redstone based on stored amounts.

Utility upgrades include Hopper Upgrade for input and output, Illumination Upgrade for lighting, and Magnet Upgrades that pull dropped items toward the drawer. Portability Upgrade lets you move a filled drawer.

Keys manage access and organization: Drawer Key locks a face to its item, Concealment and Quantify Keys change display, Personal Keys restrict use to a player, and Priority Keys set the order drawers are filled or drained. A Controller ties many drawers into one network, and Remote Upgrades let you reach that network from a distance.
