Disable Villager Trading on Your Server

Installation and Activation

Stop Villager Trades Mod is a server-side only mod, meaning you only need to install it on your server—players do not need it on their clients. This makes deployment straightforward on multiplayer servers.

1. Place the mod JAR file in your server's mods folder

2. Restart your server

3. The mod will automatically activate on startup

Verification

Once installed, test that the mod is working:

1. Have a player attempt to right-click on any villager

2. Confirm that the trading GUI does not open

3. The villager will not respond to interaction attempts

If the trading GUI still appears, verify that the mod JAR is correctly placed in the mods folder and that your server has fully restarted. The mod requires no configuration files or commands—it works immediately upon installation.
