Defending Your Castle at Night

Preparing Before Sunset

As daylight fades, ensure all your doors are closed and you're positioned inside the castle walls. Check that your bed is set and your most important items are stored safely in chests away from windows. Light up interior hallways with torches to prevent mobs from spawning inside.

Nighttime Defense Strategy

1. Stay inside the castle's main structure—the thick walls block mob entry

2. Position yourself in upper towers or rooms with clear sightlines to gates

3. Keep a sword and bow with arrows ready for any breaches

4. Watch the gates and walls for approaching zombies and skeletons

5. Use torches to illuminate the exterior walls if possible

6. Avoid opening doors unnecessarily; only exit to engage threats

Reinforcing Weak Points

If you notice mobs entering through gaps or damaged sections, repair walls with stone blocks immediately. Consider adding extra doors or gates at key entrances. The castle's design provides natural chokepoints—use them to your advantage by concentrating your defense at main gates rather than spreading thin across all walls.
