How to Copy or Clear an Entire Book, Page, or Sign in Stendhal Mod

Copying Content

Stendhal's reworked book and sign screens add one-click copy tools. You can copy the entire content of a book, a single page, or a whole sign to your clipboard, then paste it elsewhere. This is useful for moving a page between books, duplicating a sign's text onto another sign, or grabbing text to share outside the game.

Clearing Content

Alongside copy, the mod provides clear actions. You can wipe a single page or clear an entire book in one click instead of deleting line by line. Signs can likewise be emptied quickly. Because these actions are immediate, export or copy anything you want to keep first.

Step by Step

1. Open the book, Book & Quill, or sign you want to work with.

2. Use the copy button to grab the page, the whole book, or the sign text.

3. Move to the destination book or sign and paste the clipboard contents.

4. To start fresh, use the clear button on the page or book you want emptied.

Cautions

Clearing a book removes all its pages at once, so double-check you selected the right book. Copying a signed book's text is fine, but remember signed books cannot be edited afterward, so copy before signing if you plan to change anything.
