Understanding Warding Crystals

End Cities now feature protective crystals that prevent block placement and breaking in nearby areas. These crystals glow visibly and create exclusion zones. You cannot destroy or bypass these crystals directly—they are permanent environmental features.

Navigating Around Crystals

Instead of fighting the crystals, work around them. Identify the crystal positions and plan your route through the city to avoid their protected zones. Use ranged weapons and projectiles from outside the crystal's effect radius. Move carefully between safe areas.

Accessing Trial Spawners and Vaults

End Cities contain Trial Spawners that summon upgraded monsters—defeating them drops vault keys needed to open reward vaults. Engage these spawners in open areas away from crystal zones when possible. Collect vault keys and use them on the vault structures to claim loot. The combination of protective crystals and trial challenges makes End Cities significantly more dangerous than vanilla versions, so bring strong equipment and healing supplies.
