Set up an STB Metro S-Train line with platform screen doors
Choosing your S-Train configuration
The STB Metro S-Train comes in seven distinct configurations, ranging from mA to mBL setups. Each configuration offers different car counts and interior layouts. Select the configuration that matches your station platform length and aesthetic preferences for your underground metro network.
Building your station and placing the train
Construct your underground station with proper platform dimensions. Use the Minecraft Transit Railway track system to lay down your metro line route. When placing the S-Train, ensure your platform has enough space for your chosen configuration—longer configurations like mBL require extended platforms.
Add platform screen doors to your station design by building them alongside the platform edge. These doors should align with the train's door positions for an authentic metro experience. You can use various block types to create the door frames and panes.
Testing your line
Once your track is complete and the train is placed, test the route by riding the train through your metro line. Verify that the train stops correctly at stations and that passengers can board and exit properly. Adjust platform screen door positioning if needed to ensure they align with actual door openings.
