How to Compare Multiple Active Effects at a Glance

Reading Several Bars at Once

When you have many effects active, the icons stack in the top-right corner, each with its own bar. The bars let you compare durations side by side without reading any numbers.

Practical Steps

1. Apply your effects as usual (potions, beacons, commands, or food).

2. Look at the stack of icons in the top-right corner.

3. Scan the bars from top to bottom. The shortest bar is the effect that will expire first.

4. Plan your next action around whichever bar is lowest.

Why This Helps

Effects from different sources have very different lengths. A beacon effect and a potion effect may both be active, but one could last far longer than the other. Comparing bar lengths instantly tells you which one needs attention first. If you are managing buffs before a boss fight, you can confirm every bar is full before you engage. If one bar is noticeably shorter, top it up first so nothing expires mid-fight. The inventory screen shows the same bars in list form, so you can double-check there when you have a moment of safety.
