Monitor Your FPS and Performance in Real-Time

Add the FPS Counter to Your HUD

Instead of pressing F3 to check your frame rate, StarHUD can display FPS continuously.

1. Access the HUD configuration menu

2. Find the FPS element in the list of available modules

3. Enable it

4. Apply your changes

Your current frames per second will now appear on-screen at all times.

Fine-Tune the Display

Once enabled, you can customize the FPS counter:

  • Position: Place it where it won't interfere with important UI elements
  • Size: Adjust text scale if it's too prominent or hard to read
  • Color coding: Some configurations allow the text to change color based on performance (green for good FPS, yellow for moderate, red for low)
  • Refresh rate: The counter updates every frame, giving you live feedback

This is especially useful during gameplay to quickly spot performance drops caused by chunk loading, mob spawns, or intensive activities. Keep it visible but unobtrusive.
