How to Tell Which Mod Caused an Error Using StackDeobfuscator

Read the Stack Trace

Open the crash report or console output. StackDeobfuscator has already replaced production names with readable ones, so you can read class and method names directly.

Find the First Non-Minecraft Package

Scan the trace from top to bottom. The first line whose package does not begin with net.minecraft belongs to a mod. That mod is the most likely source of the error. If several mod packages appear, the one highest in the trace is the best starting point.

Check the Method Name

Read the method name in that frame. Names like render, tick, onInitialize, or loadConfig tell you what the mod was doing when it failed. This narrows down whether the issue is rendering, gameplay logic, or startup.

Look at Caused By Blocks

Below the main trace, each Caused by: block shows a deeper reason. The last Caused by is the root cause. With readable names, you can see whether it is a missing class from another mod, a null reference, or a type mismatch.

Confirm by Removing the Mod

Temporarily remove the suspected mod and reproduce the error. If it disappears, you have confirmed the source. Re-add it and check whether the error returns before reporting.
