Debug Mod Conflicts Using Readable Error Messages
Identifying Problem Mods
When multiple mods interact and cause crashes, Stack Deobfuscator helps you pinpoint which mod is responsible by showing clear method and class names.
Steps to Debug Conflicts
1.
2. Open the console and locate the stack trace. The deobfuscated names will show exactly which methods were called.
3. Scan the trace for mod packages. Minecraft classes appear under net.minecraft.*, while mods use their own namespaces (e.g., com.modauthor.modname).
4. Note the order of mod calls in the stack trace. The mod appearing highest in the trace is often the one that triggered the crash.
5. Disable mods one at a time and retest to confirm which combination causes the issue.
6. Report the error to mod developers with the full deobfuscated stack trace—they can now understand the exact problem without needing to decompile anything themselves.
This dramatically speeds up the debugging process compared to trying to interpret obfuscated names.
