Complete Tug of War Without Getting Pulled

How Tug of War Works

Your team must pull a rope harder than the opposing team. If your side gets pulled too far, you lose. Coordination and timing with your teammates are critical.

Winning Tactics

1. Synchronize with your team. Pull at the same time as your teammates—staggered pulling wastes strength.

2. Brace yourself by positioning your character firmly. Don't stand on slippery surfaces if possible.

3. Maintain constant tension on the rope. Don't let go or reduce pressure, even for a moment.

4. Watch the rope position in the middle. If it starts moving toward your side, increase your pull immediately.

5. Communicate with teammates if the mod allows it. Calling out pull timing helps everyone stay synchronized.

6. Use your full weight. Position yourself to pull with maximum force—lean back if the mechanic allows it.

Tug of War is won through teamwork and persistence. Even if the other team pulls hard, consistent, synchronized effort from your entire team will eventually overcome them.
