Troubleshoot Database Connection Issues

Check File Permissions and Paths

If a mod fails to connect to your SQLite database, verify that:

1. The database file path in the mod's config is correct and uses forward slashes or proper escaping

2. Your server process has read and write permissions on the database file and its parent directory

3. The database file isn't locked by another application or process

Verify Mod Installation

Confirm that SQLite JDBC Mod is present in your mods folder. The mod should load silently during startup—there's no in-game indicator. Check your server logs for any errors mentioning JDBC or SQLite during the loading phase.

Test with a Fresh Database

If issues persist, try creating a new database file in a different location and update your mod's config to point there. This helps isolate whether the problem is file-related or configuration-related. Ensure the mod requesting database access actually supports SQLite before troubleshooting further.
