Set Up a Local SQLite Database for Your Server

Create a New Database File

SQLite JDBC Mod allows you to store server data locally without needing an external database server. The mod automatically handles driver loading when other mods request database access.

1. Decide where your database file will live—typically in your server's root directory or a dedicated data folder

2. Other mods (like Dynmap) will reference this location in their configuration files

3. The mod loads the SQLite JDBC driver into memory when needed, so no manual initialization is required

Connect Other Mods

Once installed, any mod that supports SQLite can now connect to local .db files without additional setup. Check the mod's config file for a database path or connection string setting—it should point to your SQLite database file.

The beauty of this approach is that multiple mods can share the same database file if configured to do so, reducing storage overhead and simplifying backups. Just ensure file permissions allow read/write access to the database file.
