Recover From Falls and Restart Efficiently
Minimize Fall Damage
When you slip, try to land on lower platforms rather than falling all the way to the bottom. Even a partial fall saves you significant climbing time. Watch your descent and steer toward any blocks below you.
Return to Your Previous Height Quickly
After falling, don't rush back up. Take a moment to calm down and remember which section caused the problem. Climb back to that point methodically, using the same techniques that worked before. Speed-running the return climb often leads to another fall.
Learn From Each Fall
Each failure teaches you something:
- Did you misjudge the jump distance?
- Was your timing off?
- Did you lose focus?
Identify the cause and adjust your next attempt accordingly. If the same section trips you up multiple times, practice it separately before attempting the full climb again.
Stay Mentally Fresh
Falling repeatedly is frustrating. Take breaks between attempts to reset your focus. A fresh mind makes better decisions than a tired, frustrated one.
