How to Place Ladders and Rails Quickly in Front of You

What the Mod Changes

Normally, placing a ladder or rail means walking to each block and clicking it into position. With Speed Building Mod, you simply aim in the direction you want to build and place the first piece. The mod then extends the ladder or rail away from you automatically, so you do not have to chase the placement down a tunnel or along a track.

Step-by-Step

1. Hold the ladder or rail item in your hotbar and select it.

2. Stand at the start point of where you want the line to begin.

3. Aim your crosshair in the direction the ladder or rail should travel.

4. Place the block as you normally would. The mod takes over from there and continues the line away from you.

5. Watch the placement extend. You will hear the mod's placement sounds as each piece goes down.

6. Stop when the line reaches the length you want, or move your aim to redirect the build.

Tips

• Make sure the path ahead is clear of obstructions, or the extension may stop early.
• You can keep moving forward as the line builds, which is much faster than placing each block by hand.
• This works best in straight runs such as mine shafts, rail lines, and tower climbs.
