Create Flying Mobs with Gravity Disabled
Removing Gravity
Use the gravityoff nametag effect to make any mob immune to gravity, allowing it to float or fly in place.
Steps
1. Rename a nametag to gravityoff using an anvil
2. Right-click the target mob with the renamed nametag
3. The mob will no longer fall and can be positioned at any height
Re-enabling Gravity
To restore normal gravity to a mob, rename a nametag to gravityon and apply it.
Creative Applications
Floating mobs are excellent for creating atmospheric displays, building sky-based mob sculptures, or designing custom adventure map encounters. Combine this with freeze to create permanent floating statues, or use it with sit for unusual poses. Gravity-disabled mobs won't fall into water or lava, making them ideal for decorative purposes in any environment.
