Creating a Protected Spawn Zone

Spawn protection creates a safe area around your spawn point where players cannot build, break blocks, or engage in PvP combat. This is essential for keeping your spawn area intact and welcoming.

Steps

2. Use /spawn protect [radius] where [radius] is the distance in blocks you want protected in all directions

3. For example, /spawn protect 50 creates a 50-block radius protected zone

Managing Protection

Players with the spawn.protect permission can adjust or remove protection. If you need to modify the radius, simply run the command again with a new value—it will replace the previous setting.

Keep in mind that spawn protection only prevents building and PvP within the radius. It does not prevent players from entering or moving through the area. If you want to restrict access entirely, consider using additional server plugins or world border mechanics alongside this feature.
