Prevent Players from Falling into the Void

Automatic Void Teleportation

Spawn Plugin can detect when players fall below a configurable height threshold and automatically teleport them back to spawn. This prevents accidental deaths and keeps gameplay flowing, especially in worlds with large open spaces or custom terrain.

Configuration

1. Enable void teleportation in the plugin settings

2. Set the void height threshold—this is the Y-coordinate below which teleportation triggers

3. When a player falls below this level, they will be teleported to spawn after the configured delay

Customizing the Experience

You can:

  • Adjust the void height to match your world's design (for example, setting it lower for worlds with deep caves)
  • Enable a teleport delay so players aren't instantly yanked back—they'll see a countdown
  • Add particles and sounds to make the teleport feel intentional rather than jarring
  • Disable fall damage on teleport so players don't take damage when rescued from the void

Use world whitelisting/blacklisting to apply void teleportation only to specific worlds. This is useful if some worlds should allow void deaths while others should not.
