Two support items change how you fight: quivers and weapon oils.

A quiver stores your arrows so you can carry more ammunition without filling every inventory slot. To use one, keep it in your inventory alongside your bow or crossbow. When you fire, the weapon draws arrows from the quiver instead of your main slots, letting you stay stocked during long fights. This makes quivers especially useful for ranged builds that rely on bows and crossbows.

Weapon oils are consumables that apply a temporary effect to a weapon. To use one, apply the oil to your weapon, then strike enemies with it while the effect lasts. The oil enhances your attacks for a limited time, so timing matters: apply it right before a fight rather than wasting it while idle. Together, quivers and oils round out the mod's ranged and melee options, and both are configured through the mod's settings if you want to adjust how they behave.
