Beyond the standard material shields, Spartan Shields includes several distinct families worth knowing about.

Mekanist's shields come in Basic, Advanced, and Elite tiers, each available as both a standard shield and a tower shield. These represent a themed progression line rather than a simple material swap.

The Dark Steel Riot Shield and Dark Steel Riot Tower Shield form a riot-style pair, offering a different silhouette from the plated and braced shields.

The Bulky Obsidian Shield stands alone as a heavier, obsidian-based option.

Elementium Plated and Elementium Tower Shields round out the material list alongside the more conventional metals.

Across all families, the pattern holds: a standard shield and a tower shield variant, with the tower version trading agility for protection. Enchantments apply to these shields as expected, so a shield you invest in can be improved over time.
