How to Get the Custom Incendium Mob and Item Textures Working

What Sparkles Changes

Sparkles is a resource pack, so it only changes how things *look* — it does not add mobs or items by itself. The custom textures it provides are designed to match the models and entities that the Incendium datapack introduces. If you run Sparkles without Incendium, you'll simply see vanilla content with a few cosmetic tweaks.

Making the Textures Show Up

1. Confirm Incendium (or the relevant Stardust Labs datapack) is installed in your world's datapacks folder and is actually enabled — run /datapack list in-game to verify.

2. Open Options → Resource Packs and move Sparkles to the top of the selected list. Higher packs override lower ones, so anything above it can hide its textures.

3. Remove or lower any other pack that retextures the same mobs or items, since conflicts cause one pack to win silently.

4. Reload with F3+T (or the resource reload keybind) and re-enter the world if textures look stale.

5. Check that your video settings aren't forcing a fallback — some performance mods strip custom entity textures.

If a mob still looks vanilla, that entity likely isn't covered by the pack version you have; update Sparkles to match your datapack.
