How to Combine Sparkles With Other Resource Packs Without Conflicts
Understanding Pack Order
Minecraft loads resource packs top-down, and the first pack to define a given file wins. Sparkles touches language files and some mob/item textures, so its position in the list decides whether its changes
survive. Getting the order right is the whole game when stacking packs.
Recommended Ordering
1. Put packs that change only a few specific textures or language files near the top.
2. Place Sparkles above broad "everything" packs (like full texture overhauls) if you want its
Incendium textures and translations to show.
3. Place Sparkles below a pack only when that pack already covers the same mobs or items and you prefer its look.
4. Never run two packs that both rewrite the same language file at the same priority level — one will silently win.
Testing Your Setup
After reordering, press F3+T to reload and check a custom biome name plus one
Incendium mob texture. If either looks wrong, move Sparkles up one slot and reload again. Restart the client after finalizing order, since language data is read at launch. Keep a short list of which pack owns which feature so future updates don't scramble your order.
