Obtain Feathers for Arrows and Crafting
Farming Feathers from Skeletons
Feathers are now primarily obtained from skeletons instead of chickens, allowing you to craft arrows and other feather-based items without harming birds.
Finding Skeletons
Skeletons spawn in dark areas at night, caves, and the Nether, similar to zombies. They're especially common in skeleton spawners found in dungeons and mineshafts. You can also build a dedicated skeleton farm for consistent feather production.
Collecting Feathers
Defeat skeletons to collect their feather drops. Each skeleton typically yields feathers upon defeat. Gather and store these in your inventory or storage system.
Crafting with Feathers
Use feathers to craft arrows (combine with sticks and flint), fishing rods, and other items that normally require feathers. Since skeletons are common mob spawns, you'll have a reliable renewable source of feathers throughout your playthrough without needing to farm chickens.
