This data pack adds alternative recipes for items traditionally made from animal products, allowing you to maintain a fully vegan playstyle.

Available Vegan Alternatives

The pack modifies recipes to replace animal-derived ingredients with plant-based or mob-drop alternatives. For example, items that normally require animal products can now be crafted using materials from zombies, skeletons, and other non-animal sources.

Crafting Process

Use your crafting table as normal. When you attempt to craft items that would traditionally require animal products, check your available materials—you'll find vegan-compatible recipes work with the resources you've gathered from mobs instead.

Staying Animal-Free

Avoid killing any passive animals (cows, chickens, sheep, pigs, etc.). Focus entirely on mob farming and plant harvesting. All your crafting needs—leather, feathers, and other materials—can be met through zombie and skeleton drops, plus standard resource gathering like wood, stone, and crops.
