Activate a Random Shader Effect

Getting Started

Shader effects in this mod are triggered by consuming beetroot soup. Each bowl you drink applies a random visual filter to your world—some effects are trippy and glitchy, while others are genuinely beautiful.

Steps

1. Obtain beetroot soup. Craft it using beetroots and bowls, or find it in village structures.

2. Hold the soup in your hand and right-click to drink it.

3. Observe the effect. Your screen will immediately transform with a new shader applied. The effect persists until you remove it.

4. Experiment freely. Drink multiple soups to cycle through different effects. Each activation is random, so you might see the same effect twice or discover something entirely new.

Tips

Effects can range from subtle color shifts to extreme distortions. If you want to see what other effects exist, keep drinking—there's no penalty for trying different shaders. Take screenshots of effects you particularly enjoy so you can remember them.
