Set Up Automatic Inventory Sorting

Enable Sorting on Your Preferred Trigger

Sort It Out Mod offers three ways to trigger inventory sorting:

• Sort Button: A clickable button appears in your inventory screen. Click it to sort immediately.
• Keybind: Press your configured hotkey to sort without opening inventory.
• Double-Click: Double-click any inventory slot to sort your entire inventory.

Configure Your Preferred Method

Open the mod's preferences using the /sortitout preferences command. This opens a settings screen where you can:

1. Enable or disable each sorting trigger

2. Choose which method feels most natural for your playstyle

3. Customize the sort button's position if using the button method

If you prefer minimal interruption, the keybind is fastest. If you want a visual reminder, enable the sort button. Double-click sorting works well if you're already managing inventory frequently.

Your settings persist across sessions, so configure once and sort freely.
