Setting Up Item Filters

Sophisticated Core Mod's filter system lets storage addons sort and restrict which items enter containers. Filters work through the addon's menu interface.

Basic Filter Steps

1. Open your storage container's menu

2. Find the filter configuration area (layout varies by addon)

3. Add items to the filter by clicking slots and placing items in them

4. Choose your filter mode:

• Whitelist: Only items matching the filter can enter
• Blacklist: Items matching the filter are blocked

5. Apply the filter—it takes effect immediately

Filter Tips

• Use filter upgrades (if available) to expand filtering capacity
• Filters persist when containers are broken and replaced
• Some addons let you filter by item type, damage value, or NBT data
• Combine filters with automation upgrades to create sorting systems
