Obtaining the Sonic Totem

The Sonic Totem of Undying functions identically to the vanilla Totem of Undying—it's purely a visual replacement. You'll find or craft it the same way you would a standard totem. Once in your inventory, it appears as the iconic blue hedgehog model instead of the gold figure.

Using Your Sonic Totem

To benefit from your Sonic Totem's protection, you must be holding it in either hand when you would normally take fatal damage. When death would occur, the totem activates automatically:

• Your health is restored to half a heart
• You're granted temporary damage resistance and fire resistance
• You're lifted slightly into the air with a visual effect
• The totem is consumed and disappears from your inventory

Maximizing Protection

Carry your Sonic Totem in an easily accessible hotbar slot, especially when exploring dangerous areas like caves, the Nether, or the End. You can hold one in each hand for backup protection. The resource pack doesn't change the totem's mechanics—only its appearance—so use it exactly as you would the vanilla version.
